A Personalised 1:1 Beginner's Experience with Samantha Sweet MA RCA Discover glassblowing with this intensive 1:1 beginners' glassblowing lesson, located a 5-minute walk from East Finchley Underground station. This session offers an intimate, one-on-one experience with at least 2 hours tutored hands-on making time without any interruptions. No experience necessary. Your Experience: - Private Class: This intensive session is tailored exclusively for you, ensuring an uninterrupted and personalised learning experience with the studio to yourself. - Craft Basics: Under my experienced guidance, you'll embark on your glassblowing journey by crafting a solid piece, such as a candleholder. As you progress, you'll create a series of blown glass pieces. - Safety First: Your experience begins with a thorough introduction to essential health and safety practices, ensuring your well-being throughout the process. - Hands-On Creativity: This session is very hands-on. Dive headfirst into the process of shaping molten glass, employing time-honored tools and your own breath. - Personalised Masterpieces: During the workshop, you'll be designing, then making a series of four unique pieces that you will take home as cherished keepsakes. You will make: - One solid piece - Three blown pieces You will cover: - Introduction to the equipment. - Gathering molten glass from a furnace. - Shaping and refining glass using traditional tools. - Adding and working with your choice of glass colors. All materials and safety equipment are prepared and awaiting your arrival. Refreshments are available during the session. **Important Note:** Your glass will have to be annealed overnight (cooled down at a controlled rate). You can either collect them in person or have them shipped to your doorstep for a fee of £20.00.
