Service Description

Step out of the tube station into the world of glass in my north London studio with a friend. This session is a private class for two people (ie £165 per person.) During this lesson you can make both a solid piece and a blown piece, getting at least an hour hands on making time each each. You will be able to choose your shapes and colours to make glass which will be yours to keep and treasure. You will make: – One solid piece each – One blown piece each You will be introduced to techniques including: – Gathering molten glass from a furnace – Adding colour – Shaping glass – Blowing glass All materials and safety equipment are provided. Lessons are held in my studio with bifold doors open to keep you comfortable while blowing glass with a view over the park. Refreshments are available during the session. Please be aware that your glass will have to be annealed overnight and have to be picked up or posted out to you at a later date. Currently available for over 18s only.
